At Jam Circle this past friday two beautiful retro wool numbers were adopted by a lovely visiting Balboa Instructor. A bright red bias Chaiken and a wine colored bias Express with huge flowers around the hem. Some other items went home with people as well but this Express skirt was the prettiest.

New skirts great for dancing!
I acquired some gently used skirts great for dancing, ladies. Some trumpet, a-line, full, cut on the bias and generally twirly ones in all sizes and colors are now available. I also picked up some sweet and sexy fishtail skirts that are great for our other non-dancing activities. Come check them out before they get snapped up at my excellent prices!
I will also have a box of free stuff from my closet for everyone to pick through so have fun with that 🙂
Model J Vintage is launched!
Model J Vintage was launched this past weekend at local monthly New York City swing dance event Jam Circle. Happy dancers Monica, Neal and Kim took home three lovely items; a stretchy blue 40’s inspired dress that will be perfect for dancing, a lovely cotton 70’s men’s shirt printed with scattered “blue” blueberries on a background of pale red blueberries, and a beautiful 40’s inspired black print skirt with red trim also perfect for dancing. Some other lovely items are waiting for that perfect person to take them home. I will be listing them here for all to see with details on size, condition and price. Some I will send out into the ebay world and let a wider audience take a look. I am waiting for the delivery of some display mannequins to better show off the garments and give you an idea of how they hang on the body.
